Steelmaster 600WF is formulated to provide up to 90 minutes fire protection on structural steel. It is a single pack high solids waterbourne thin film intumescent suitable for structural steel, beams and columns exposed to cellulosic fire. Ideal for the protection of steel buildings for 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes fire protection. Designed for high performance and minimum environmental impact. A low VOC environmentally compliant coating CE marked. It is quality guaranteed by Exova Warrington Fire Research meeting the requirements of BS476 part 20/21, ASTM E84 and EN 13381-8. It is Fire Rated B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1). Suitable as a finish coat internally or externally up to corrosivity category C3 (ISO 12944-2).

Steelmaster 900WF is formulated to provide up to 2 hours fire protection on structural steel. This high level of fire protection is achieved at significantly lower film thickness than other intumescents making it the most economic steel fire protection in the market. With low VOCs it is designed for high performance and minimal environmental impact, contributing to the Green Building Standard Credits. Steelmaster 900WF is quality guaranteed by Exova Warrington Fire Research meeting the requirements of BS476 part 20/21, EN 13381-9 and ASTM E84 Class A. It is approved by LEED and BREEAM. Suitable as a finish coat internally or externally up to corrosivity category C4 (ISO12944-2).

Steelmaster 1200WF is formulated to provide up to 3 hours fire protection on structural steel. It is the ultimate in fire protection paints and is recommended for lightweight and hollow sections which heat up rapidly in cases of cellulosic fire. With high solids, high coverage rates it requires lower paint requirements compared to other intumescents. With low VOCs it is designed for high performance and minimum environmental impact, contributing to the Green Building Standard Credits, an environmentally compliant coating CE marke and quality guaranteed by Exova Warrington Fire Research meeting the requirements of BS476 part 20/21, ASTM E84 and EN 13381-8. It is Fire Rated B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1). It is suitable as a finish coat internally or externally up to corrosivity category C3 (ISO 12944-2).

They expand by many times their original thickness when subject to intense heat, they form an insulating char to protect the steel structures in the event of fire, to enable timely evacuation of any building.

Steelmaster 1200WF offers the highest rating with 3 hours fire protection, it is also recommended for hollow beams subject to rapid increase in temperature. It can be used at lower film thicknesses on steel sections requiring 2 hors fire protection.
Steelmaster 900WF is designed for fire protection on stell columns and beams in the range from 90 minutes to 2 hours. It is the most effective product in this range producing the required protection with the lowest paint requirements.
Steelmaster 600WF is designed to give up to 90 minutes fire protection, a low odour finish with high coverage rates and lower paint requirements compared to other intumescents..
Primers and Topcoats.
For most enviroments up to category C3 (ISO 12944-2) Pilot QD fast air drying zinc phosphate primer is recommended. For corrosive categories up to C4 Heavy Industrial Penguard Express is recommended.
All Steelmaster products are available in a white finish, should a topcoat colour be required the approved finishes include Conseal TU Matt air drying acrylic or Hardtop CA two pack polyurethane gloss. Both products are available in a wide range of RAL, NCS or British Standard colours.
