Jotun VISIR Pigmented a water repellent treatment ideal for Impregnated and Weathered Exterior Wood. Suitable for overcoating with Demidekk Infinity and Demidekk Ultimate. Easy to Apply ensure all excess primer at the surface is brush into the grain of the wood. It is a water repellent primer to prolong the durability of exterior wood on Cladding, Log Cabins, Decking, Fencing and other exterior wood applications. It can be used before applying opaque paints and applied on all new and weatherworn exterior woodwork . Suitable for softwoods only.VISIR Pigmented Primer contains effective film conserving agents that counteract Mould growth and Black Fungus. It forms a water repellent barrier and binds loose wood fibres providing a good surface for painting. Easy to apply by brush or roller along the grain of the wood. It may also be used on sawn and planed woods. Available in a range of pack sizes for free delivery to your home or business.

Surface Preparation.
Bare Wood: Ensure the existing surface is lightly abraded to remove fibres. Ensure the wood is clean free from oil grease and other contaminants.

VISIR Pigmented Primer is a water repellent stabilising primer to prolong the durability of Demidekk Infinity on windows & doors and Demidekk Ultimate on Cladding, Decking, Log Cabins, Fencing and other exterior wood applications.
It can be used before applying Pilot II enamel paints or applied on all new and weatherworn exterior woodwork as well as impregnated woods. An ideal water based maintenance paint for all applications on exterior wood, hardwoods, timber and joinery .It is available in small packs for free delivery to your home or business.
VISIR Pigmented Primer contains powerful fungicides to combat against wood rotting fungi and surface moulds. It forms a water repellant barrier and binds loose wood fibres and provides a good surface for Demidekk high performance paints. It will significantly improve the adhesion and long term protection of the applied topcoat.
Ideal as an all round primer on all new and weatherworn exterior wood including doors, windows, decking, log cabins, sheds fencing and cladding.
Easy to apply by brush or roller along the grain of the wood. The primer can be applied wet on wet to penetrate the wood surfaces. Excess primer should be brushed out to prevent the primer forming a surplus film. It is critical to brush the primer out so as to avoid excess paint as this will effect the drying process, at least 5 square metres per litre should be the preferred spreading rate.
It may also be used on sawn and planed woods. Theoretical coverage rates are 5-7 sq metres per litre on sawn wood and 6-8 sq metres per litre on planed wood.
