Jotun Jotafloor Rapid Dry is hard wearing with good chemical and water resistance, ideal for workspaces subject to pedestrian and light traffic. It is a single pack fast air-drying alkyd paint, touch dry in 30 mins and can be overcoated in 2 hours. It is walk on dry in one hour.

This Fast-air-drying solvent-based floor paint is easy to apply on concrete, steel and wooden surfaces by brush or roller, it is touch dry in 30 minutes and can be overcoated in two hours It is walk on dry in one hour. Two coats should be applied each 50 microns dry film thickness, coverage is approximately 10 square metres per litre per coat.

It is available for free next day delivery in either a stock RAL 3009 or 7011 colour, Jotafloor can also be tinted to an extensive range of RAL Classic colours, to see the full range of colours click here. This paint is only available in a gloss finish in 5lt packs providing a non-slip aggregate may be added in areas classified as a potential slip hazard such as stairwells and walkways.

Surfaces to be painted should be sound, clean and dry. On bare concrete prime with one coat of Jotafloor Rapid dry thinned 10% with Jotun No. 7 thinners. New concrete should be allowed to dry and cure (approx. 3 months) before applying the primer coat. Exceptionally smooth surfaces (e.g. concrete levelling compound or power floated floors) should be abraded first using Acid Etch or an abrading machine to help produce a ‘key’.

On existing painted floors ensure the surface is free from oil, grease and other contaminants. Remove any loosely adhering paint back to a sound surface. Patch prime any exposed areas of concrete before applying two full coats. Take care to follow the technical data for drying and overcoating times.
