Little Greene Portland Stone and Inspiring Colour Combinations
Little Greene Stone is an elegant palette of completely natural colours, these complex formulations offer tranquillity, timelessness and harmonious colour combinations. At the forefront of historical décor, Little Greene Stone shades are warmer than Greys and remain a timeless signature for contemporary interior design.
Little Greene Portland Stone (77) and Little Greene Bath Stone (64) were used to colour the facades of Victorian townhouses and country homes. Portland Stone Pale (155), Light (281) and Dark (157) pairs beautifully with Baluster (321), Livid (263) and even Sage Green (80). Bath Stone with Travertine Mid (273), Arras (316) or Bassoon (336).
Little Greene Clay (39) is a development from Little Greene Regency Fawn (30) using a higher level of ochre as a warm neutral for modern and period interiors. Try Clay alongside Joanna (130), Jewel Beetle (303) or Scullery (318). Roman Plaster (31) and Chocolate Colour (124) are more modern additions from recent history. Like Clay, Little Greene Roman Plaster can be classically paired with Joanna too and Ashes of Roses (6) or Blush (267).
Stone colours are at the core of the Colour Scales range. Like Neutrals they blend well with similar tones and contrast beautifully with stronger colours from within their group. Little Greene Rolling Fog (143), Pale (158), Light (271) and Dark (160) tones pair with themselves or combine with Arras, Nether Red (315), Blush, Attic II (144) and Chocolate Colour.
Green Stone Light (269) a variation from Green Stone combines with Sage Green and Dark Brunswick Green (88).
