Teamac Protector II – Marine Anitfouling

Teamac Protector II is an Effective and Economic Antifouling suitable for Vessels with a maximum speed of 30 Knots. It is an eroding antifouling paint that offers a combination of good compatibility and competitive performance. Based on copper oxide antifouling it is suitable for most environments. The expected functional life of this product is upto 18 months. It is used as an antifouling for the underwater areas of vessels or underwater marine structures. It is suitable for domestic and commercial vessels on steel, wood or GRP hulls.

Application Guide

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1)

Wood, GRP, Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.

Prime with 2 coats of MetaClor Primer.

Apply 2 coats of Protector II. Allow 18hrs between coats.
