Teamac MetaClor Primer – Marine Anti-fouling Primer

Teamac Metaclor Antifouling Primer is an antifouling primer which contains Zinc Phosphate for added corrosion protection when used on steel. Based on Chlorinated rubber this product can also be used as an underwater primer on suitably prepared steel, GRP and Wood or as a sealer coat over most conventional systems. It can also be applied to aged coatings including Antifoulings. It is normally overcoated with Teamac Antifouling paints or other Teamac topcoats and finishes.

Application Guide

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1)

Wood, GRP, Coated Surfaces: Ensure the existing coat is intact, compatible, dry and free from oil grease and other contaminants.

Prime with 2 coats of MetaClor Primer. Allow 8hrs between coats.
