Jotun Barrier a fast drying polyamide cured two pack very high zinc rich epoxy primer for steel. Complying with SSPC paint 20, level 2 it provides excellent corrosion protection as the primer for a multicoat system in atmospheric C5-M coastal and C4 Industrial environments. Prequalified in accordance with Norsok M-501, Rev 5, System 1. This product complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust. It may be used in an offshore or industrial environment or as a repair coating for galvanised steel and inorganic zinc silicates. Suitable for structural steel and piping exposed in extreme corrosivity categories up to cx (iso 12944-2). Recommended for refineries, power plants, bridges, petrochemical and industrial facilities. Available in a grey matt finish in 4lt and 9lt packs for free delivery throughout the UK.

Jotun Barrier Primer is a fast drying two pack zinc rich epoxy primer with a high content of zinc that complies with the compositional requirements for SSPC Paint 20 level 2 and ISO 12944. Barrier is supplied with ASTM D520 Type II zinc dust.

Barrier Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer is designed for new construction where fast dry to handle and overcoating times are required. It is suitable for use on steel to be exposed to highly corrosive C5M environments. It can be applied by Airless spray on abrasive blast cleaned steel. Barrier Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer is prequalified in accordance with Norsok M501 System 1. Suitable for structural steel and piping exposed in extreme corrosivity categories up to cx (iso 12944-2). This product complies with ASTM D520 type II zinc dust. It may be used in an offshore or industrial environment or as a repair coating for galvanised steel and inorganic zinc silicates. Recommended for structural steel and piping in refineries, power plants, bridges, petrochemical and industrial facilities It is resistant to continuous temperatures of up to 120°C

Barrier Zinc Rich Epoxy Primer is a two pack epoxy provides excellent corrosion protection as part of a complete coating system suitable for use in atmospheric environments. It can be applied direct to carbon steel and may be used to repair inorganic silicate coatings and galvanised steel. It can be applied up to 125 microns in a single coat by airless spray, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended DFT by brush. It is very fast drying touch dry in ten minutes and can be overcoated in 90 minutes.
A large selection of two pack polyurethane topcoats are available from the Hardtop range. Hardtop Flexi is recommended as a one coat primer finish for Direct to Metal applications. Hardtop HB matt finishes are ideal for Architectural and Commercial buildings. Hardtop AX is an alternative high gloss finish when fast drying properties are critical for productivity or speed of handing on commercial equipment. Hardtop CA is recommended to reduce the risks to health and safety when applying gloss polyurethanes by spray application.
