Jotacote Universal – Marine Epoxy Anti Abrasion Underwater Primer

Jotacote Universal is an abrasion resistant two pack Epoxy Primer for metal substrates, suitable for use Underwater and Topside. A universal marine primer designed specifically for use in new building. Can also be applied to aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel. It has excellent mechanical and abrasion resistance and can be applied upto 300 microns in a single coat by airless spray. It can be overcoated with Hardtop Polyurethanes in exposed environments for long term colour and protection. Below the waterline on boats it can be overcoated with Vinyguard Silvergrey 88 as a tiecoat prior to applying antifouling.

Carbon Steel: Minimum St 2 , Recommended Abrasive blast clean to Sa 2.5. (ISO 8501-1)
