Elastodeck is a unique waterproofing coating for concrete flat roofs, Redland roof tiles and balconies in C4 Heavy Industrial and C5-M Marine environments. No abrasive blast cleaning or additional primers are required. It is recommended for renovating concrete flat roofs previously coated in bituminous roofing material. It can also be applied direct to concrete and Redland 49 concrete roof tiles used extensively in the London area. Its high flexibility enables it to bridge hairline cracks in the concrete surface. Applied by airless spray or roller. Roof Fleece is recommended on flat roofs where ponding is likely. It is environmentally compliant with low VOCs, no fire risks and low odour.

High pressure water blasting is recommended to remove surface contaminants, loosely adhering paint and rust. For flat roofs use a roof fleece to reinforce the higher film build required. Roll it evenly overlap at least 5 cm. Then apply with a roller or brush a first coat of Elastodeck. Allow to dry before applying two coats of Elastodeck by Airless Spray (2600psi). Allow 3 hours between coats. Application by roller may be used , additional coats may be required to achieve the recommended thickness. Read the technical datasheet for more detailed information.
