Demidekk Cleantech the Ultimate fast drying water based exterior wood paint based on AMA technology developed in Norway made in the UK. The combination of high quality binders and weather resistant pigments , it is rain resistant in one hour, protecting timber against sunlight, providing excellent weatherability in excess of 12 years. It counteracts mould growth to reduce wood rot and blackening. It has an easyclean surface with extremely low dirt pick up. Ideal for extreme Weather Protection on Log Cabins, Siding, Fencing and Sheds. A subtle Satin finish it is specified by leading architects and lodge manufacturers.

Suitable for use on new primed, primed impregnated or previously stained or painted exterior woodwork. Remove all loosely adhering material back to a sound edge, the surface must be dry and free of surface contamination. For additional water resistance VISIR clear primer is recommended on bare wood. Demidekk Cleantech is based on advanced Alkyd Modified Acrylic (AMA) technology developed in Norway and manufactured by AVACE in the UK, providing up to 12 years’ protection against moisture, UV degradation and harsh weather when applied correctly.
Demidekk Cleantech is recommended for luxury log cabins, garden rooms, cladding, decking, fencing and exterior furniture, giving you one high‑performance system that can protect almost all exterior timber around your home and garden. It replaced Demidekk Ultimate, with enhanced durability and easy clean properties.
Demidekk Cleantech and Demidekk Ultimate are fully compatible AMA‑based systems, so Cleantech can be applied over sound Demidekk Ultimate; it can also be used over existing stained or painted wood that has been properly cleaned and prepared.
For new, bare or exposed exterior timber Avace recommends Jotun VISIR clear which penetrates the surface, providing additional water repellency and creates the ideal base for Demidekk Cleantech.
Use Demidekk Terrassfix to clean and revive weathered decking, followed by Demidekk Cleantech or Terrasslasyr terrace glaze. Terrassfix removes old stains, oils and contamination, then prime with Jotun VISIR Clear and re‑colour with Demidekk Cleantech. This system will protect the decking boards with a durable, water‑resistant finish which will last for up to 12 years.
