Coovar Anti Slip Acrylic Floor Paint is a fast air drying durable floor paint for use on walkways, ramps, warehouses and factories. Suitable for concrete, wood, tarmac and previously painted floors where safety is a major consideration in walkways and around machinery. Non flammable , with low odour and low VOCs it can be applied during normal business hours with minimum disruption to people, operations and business activities. It produces a hard wearing, chemical and water resistant floor in hours. It has been PTV tested and has excellent anti slip properties in wet and dry conditions.Suitable for heavy pedestrian and medium fork lift traffic.

Suitable for most surfaces interior and exterior and previously painted surfaces. Remove all loosely adhering material back to a sound edge. The surface must be dry and free of surface contamination.
Apply 2-3 full coats of Antislip Floor Paint to 40 microns by brush roller or spray. Allow 6 hr between coats. Read the technical datasheet for more detailed information.
Yes, if the previous floor paint is sound and well adhered to the original substrate, is clean and free from surface contaminants, it is always recommended to apply a test area first.
For concrete floors, abrasive blast cleaning or acid etching is recommended to remove laitance and to open the pores in the concrete. Moisture content should be less than 14%, ensure the surface is clean and free of oil grease and other contaminants. Thin the first coat 5% with water to penetrate the concrete, apply two further coats of unthinned acrylic floor paint.
